I can report ...Hey, famous by my standards anyway! I can report that as of this past Saturday, the only PA beers they had were Troegg's Sunshine Pils, Appalachian Brewing Co's Mountain Lager, and Yuengling Lager. To add more skepticism to their beer nerd cred, the menu listed the Mountain Lager as "Appalachian Brewing Company," I had to ask which one. Suffice it to say, I had read your post prior to going to the restaurant and was excited to see if they had substantially improved their beer selections. Unfortunately not.

I had heard about the upcoming Troeg's brewery in Hershey. I wonder if there are any plans for a chocolate stout, which would seem pretty apropos given the location.Ryanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04641101116320740511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2832743470368318723.post-22367284148109292602010-07-15T12:59:33.379-04:002010-07-15T12:59:33.379-04:00Pretty famous beer bloggers, eh? I ...Pretty famous beer bloggers, eh? Too funny...

I actually heard back from the beverage manager at the Hotel Hershey, and he says that they are adding more PA beers into the mix there, with tap selections coming from Stoudts and Troegs. Hopefully he follows through.

I was a little skeptical of his beer nerd cred though, as he said he was adding Troegs Rugged Trail Ale. I politely told him that they stopped making that a few months ago.

Next Fall, Troegs is opening a brewery in Hershey that sounds like a beer nerd's paradise. I good reason to go back.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14626748098218284165noreply@blogger.com
